The Christian Christmas Tradition
of Christmas Bells

Aaron must wear it when he ministers. The sound of the bells will be heard when he enters the Holy Place before the LORD and when he comes out, so that he will not die. ~ Exodus 28:35

Bells have always produced joy and excitement. Bells were used in religious services long before our Savior's birth. But now Chrisitan Christmas Tradition of Christmas Bells for centuries the bells of churches in every land have rung the glad news of the birth of Jesus. These bells would ring for an hour before midnight on Christmas Eve as if to warn the powers of darkness of the approaching birth of the Savior. Then, right at midnight, they would change to a joyous pealing, ringing out the announcement, "Christ is born!
