I’M NEW

Got questions? No problem! We’ve got answers.

We’re so glad you’re here! We’d love to welcome you to Moore’s Chapel. Below is a some background about who we are, and if you’ve got questions, please see below.

WHO WE ARE

We are an “inter-generational” church, from the little ones to the seniors, and everyone in-between. There are no perfect people and no perfect churches, so however you show up is fine. We strive to grow in our relationship with God and to reflect God’s goodness to those we meet.

Although we’ve been serving Christ for over 150 years, we’re young at heart. We offer both contemporary and traditional worship and a relevant message that will make a difference in your life.

We are located at 392 Blake Road off Blue Ball Road in Elkton, Maryland. We have an in-person service at 9am (contemporary) and 11am (traditional) every Sunday.  The 9am service is also lived streamed and available for replay on our YouTube channel. We offer Children’s Ministry at our 9am service. There are many opportunities to reach others, connect to the community, serve God and others, grow in our faith, and go carry the Gospel out into the world throughout the week.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Here’s some of the things you can expect when worshiping with us.

How long is your Sunday service?

Both our 9am and our 11 am in-person experience last around 60 minutes.

Why should I come?

God wants a relationship with each and every one of us! All are welcome, and we’d love to have you come worship with us.

Do you have a Children’s Ministry?

Yes! We have Sunday School, Kid’s Connect, and Moore’s Chapel Youth Group.

What should I wear?

Our first core value is that we welcome all people from all walks of life. We love, honor and respect all, so come as you are!

What version of the Bible do you use?

While some folks have their favorite translation, you’re welcome to read along with whichever you prefer.

What kind of music do you sing?

We’ve got a mix of people, so we’ve got a mix of music. We typically have both contemporary and hymn-focused music.
