Announcements  

After School Program for Middle School Students

Beginning Tuesday November 11, 2003 there will be a program offered after school for any students that attend Rising Sun Middle School and also ride the bus that passes the church. Other students are welcome if they have transportation to and from the church.

The program will run from November  to March and be held on Tuesday afternoons from 3-5pm. Parents would need to provide a ride home for their student. Activities will include homework help, snacks, music, outside games, inside games, crafts and a short Bible lesson. All participants must be pre-registered before they begin attending. To register or for more information contact . I am also looking for adults that would be willing to help in any capacity.

Tag Day and Pancake Breakfast 

The annual Tag Day and Pancake Breakfast will be held Saturday November 1st 6: 00 -11: 00 a. m.. Get an early start on the Christmas season by picking out your Christmas tree at the Pine Valley Christmas Tree Farm and have a wonderful breakfast at Moore's Chapel, fellowship with friends and neighbors and maybe even buy a present or two from the craft and bake tables! Contact Rosie Reirson or Kenneth Howett for information and to volunteer. Note: You don't have to tag a tree to join us for breakfast!

Hospitality Meals 

Christine Spencer is organizing a Hospitality Meals program that would provide hot dinners on a short-term basis for church families in need. While it is flexible, we hope to provide 4-5 evening meals to a person and/ or their family who is ill, undergoing surgery, has recently had a baby, etc. to help them get back to their normal routine. If you are interested in cooking or know someone who is or will be in need of meals, please contact Christine. If you have already signed up to cook, you will be receiving a letter in the mail shortly.
