Mommy and Me"Mommy and Me" is a group of mothers and their children getting together each month to share friendship and Christian fellowship. Our meetings consist of fun activities for our children, devotions for our mothers and snacks for all. Our intention is to provide a caring atmosphere for all who attend.. "Mommy and Me" will be meeting on different days throughout the months to give everyone a chance to attend. Please let this year be focused on inviting new mothers and their children, up to age five, to our group!! If you have any questions please call me. Thanks, Melissa Cohen. Our Focus for October is "Scarecrows". Our monthly outing will be Thursday, October 9th at Walnut Springs Farm. The cost is $5.00/ person with children 2 and under free. We will be making scarecrows so please bring old clothes that belong to your child to stuff. We will also go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. There are a lot of exciting things to do at the farm with a milking cow as a new attraction. Bring a bag lunch if you would like to eat at the farm. Our next "Mommy and Me" monthly meeting will be Friday, October 24th, 2003 at Moore's Chapel at 10: 00 a. m. Please bring a snack to share. If you need directions to any of our activities please let me know. Hope to see everyone there!! |
