Youth Group Service

Methodist Youth Service at Moore's chapel

On Sunday February 22nd, 2004, the Youth Group presented both the 8:30 and 11:00 services. I hope many of you were in attendance. The Administrative Council requested the service, but the Youth Group ran with the idea. It is important that the congregation understand that the ideas for the service came from the Youth.

We are truly blessed to have such a fine group of young people. The youth had a goal for the service, that someone in the congregation would come to know Christ as their Savior. Their goalMethodist Youth Group Service was met; two of the youth accepted Christ at the first service. I found it very exciting that God chose to use the youth to minister to themselves. We never know when God will move in someone's life, please continue to pray for these young people as they DO need your prayers on a daily basis. It is easy to be a Christian in church on Sunday. Pray that God will remain in their hearts throughout the week.
Yours in Christ,   Jen Arter ( youth@mooreschapel.org )

It was truly a privilege to be present at this very moving, Spirit led service. These young people filled the church with the message of love and joy. The service included a saxophone solo, a flute duet, an announcement rap, praise songs, a wonderful sermon given by Michael Lewis, two testimonies, and a drama to the song "Mary Did You Know?".

There is one word that sums up the service and our youth .....Methodist Youth Group Service
