Youth Progressive Dinner

Methodist Youth Progressive DinnerThe youth had a wonderful time dining here and there on Saturday March 20th. The dinner began at 6 pm at the home of Rev. Jack and Melissa Cohen. We enjoyed a teen favorite salsa, cheese and chips. The kids were so quiet I thought I had brought the wrong group, but after 15 minutes they were getting loud and having a great time.

We continued the evening at the home of Judy and Swanson Musick. There we had yummy "make your own" salads.

At 7:22 pm we arrived at the Spencer's, for our main course of ziti and garlic bread. The youth enjoyed a tour of the house before dinner.

We concluded our evening at the home of Vernon and Emily Shoun and Bob Logan. The iceMethodist Youth Progressive Dinner cream was ready when we arrived, I couldn't believe any one was still hungry. In addition to ice cream we had cookies and chips. This last house was like a museum. The youth kept commenting on all the unique items on the shelves and in cabinets. Bob entertained the older youth and Donna and I played a game of Cranium with the rest. Everyone seemed to have a great time and before we finished our game it was 10 pm.

A huge thank you to all of the families that allowed us to invade their homes. If after reading this Methodist Youth Progressive Dinner you feel the tug of God on your heart and you would like to get your feet wet working with the youth, contact  me about our upcoming after prom party "Top It Off"

Yours in Christ,
