What is the Youth Rally?
"Guarding the Priceless"
On January 9, 2004, four thousand youth gathered
at the Ocean City Convention Center to have church
for three days. Nationally known musicians and
speakers came to minister to these youth. The theme this
year was "Guarding the Priceless". The youth learned
how and why to guard their hearts, minds, and
bodies, through workshops, speakers, and corporate praise
and worship services. Fourteen youth and three adults
from our church attended. Our prayer as a youth group was to have a fun and meaningful weekend.
God
answered our prayer.
Youth Schedule of Coming Events
February 8th - Youth Meeting at Moore's Chapel
4-6pm
February 22nd - Youth Service at Moore's
Chapel 8:30 and 11:00am
March 14th - Sunday afternoon Confirmation Rally
at Red Lion Christian School. Adults are needed
to chaperone this event.
March 20th - Youth progressive dinner.
Volunteers are needed to provide part of the dinner for the youth
in your home for 20 people. Sign up with Jen Arter for appetizer, salad, main course, and
dessert/game time.
