BUSTIN' at the SEAMS
Administrative Council News
"For quite some time it has been apparent that we have outgrown our current building even with the addition of
the portable classrooms. The Administrative Council, in recognizing this need, has been meeting and planning ways to
meet this concern. Our vision was to obtain additional land, adjacent to our current location, in order to construct a
multi-purpose facility and still be able to use our current facilities during the construction period. All attempts to make
that vision a reality have been exhausted and now it is necessary for us to broaden our search and include other
property, preferably as close to our present location as possible.
We feel that it is important to keep everyone informed of our progress. As with any land acquisition/building project
of this type, we will need to implement a building fund. Even though we are in the early stages of this project, with
no definite land obtained, we feel that it is important to communicate our progress to all members and to provide
an opportunity for members of the congregation to participate in our growth prior to establishing a designated
"building fund." If you would like to participate, please place your contribution in the offering plate on Sundays. Be sure to
note on your check or envelope "Building Program".
A program of this type is a timely and costly process to complete. If you have any ideas concerning fundraisers,
please speak with Jeff Lehr. We ask for your continued prayers for the growth and direction of our Church and its service
to our members, our community and our Lord."
