Small Group Ministry

E-mail Print PDF

In 2006, we attended the Small Group Conference at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, and since then we have continually explored the best way to adopt or activate this ministry into Moore’s Chapel and the wider community. We formed and met regularly as a Small Group Pilot Group Meeting to encourage and challenge each other to begin a unique small group ministry, to share more resources and information, to try a variety of bible studies and activities in small group settings. Our small group ministry team prayed, planned, sponsored, and invited the congregation and wider community to participate in the Bible studies “Best Question Ever” in 2008 and “The Bible in 90 days” in 2009.

Fifteen people attended a Group Life Conference via satellite; we believe this will give us rejuvenation for our current small group members, as well as information and motivation for newcomers who will attend this Conference for the first time. It is our goal to provide opportunities for everyone to experience Jesus Christ in a variety of ways through a diversity of small groups.
