Our youth group each year has grown in quality and quantity. Under the leadership of Jen Arter, the youth experience many activities and programs, all of which nurture the growth of our youth’s spiritual lives, as well letting them have fun. Our youth have two Sunday School classes on Sunday morning; the middle school level is led by Fay Pierce and Betsy Bates, and the high school level is led by Lana Johnson and Jen Arter.
We also have “Elevation,” our youth group that meets every Sunday night. Each meeting is a combination of fun and learning. Elevation has a youth band called “Go Higher” that meets on Wednesday and provides music to the church about six times per year. The highlights of our Youth ministry include: the Annual Youth Rally in Ocean City; the Youth Service, including a student preacher; participation in local mission programs; cleaning up at the Cecil County Fair as a fundraiser, Crop Walk, Witness Festival, Creation Festival, Vacation Bible School, YMCA Fun Night, Narnia Lock In, Adopt a Family for Christmas, handout tracts at the mall; and many more activities.
The youth group has the full support of the congregation as they seek a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and build a bright future for Moore’s Chapel. Even though we have been blessed with wonderful adult volunteers, we still need your support and prayer.
