Victory In Jesus

If we took all of our tithes and offerings and monies that we raised and used them solely to build a church, we would surely have a beautiful building, BUT we really wouldn't be doing God's work.  That is where the concept of "missions" comes into play.

Mission Statement

1) Waking to the need of Jesus in the lives of all,  2) Walking in the Word of God,
3) Witnessing for Christ in thought, speech and action, and  4) Winning the world for Jesus Christ by having lives changed through the power of the Holy Spirit.

You can review Moore's Chapel's  2003 missions programs in the Winter 2004 Issue of the Moore's Messenger. The Moore's Chapel Methodist Women also work very hard to raise funds for the mission work that they support.

Several of our church members have personally taken part in missions work.  Our own April LeMaire traveled to Ecuador in 2003.  The Ray of Hope Mission Center in Port Deposit also receives our support for local missions work.

As the year 2005 gets underway, we will again be supporting several mission activities on the local, national, and international levels.  One accomplishment this year has been upgrade of the website for The Ray of Hope Mission Center.  Hopefully this new site will increase the awareness in the community of the very important work being done by Ray of Hope.

Drop on over to www.rayofhopemissioncenter.org and learn about their ministry.  Send Frank an email of encouragement or, better yet, drop in and visit them personally.
