Television Evangelism Ad CampaignA major duty of the Missions & Evangelism committee is spreading the Gospel. We also are attempting to fill the pews at Moore's Chapel with new people. The Armstrong Cable system offers an "ad" channel on their cable channel 4. We have used this channel in the past to advertise our church functions, but we may have been neglecting another function of this inexpensive advertising medium..... Evangelism. The Missions & Evangelism Committee has begun a three month "test" by preparing 21 different "ads" that will appear over 80 times on Armstrong Cable Channel 4 during the next three months. In addition to several church function advertisements, 19 of the ads are of the type that you see on church "billboards" along the highway. Some are humorous, some are "catchy", but we hope that they all are thought provoking and that they will act as a reminder to the community that there is a progressive, growing, Christ-centered church in their midst. As this is a "test" program, we would appreciate hearing any comments that you may hear from the community. Please email comments to missions@mooreschapel.org . For maximum effect, there are times (especially during holy week), when we may have two or three ads appearing at the same time.
