When God takes control of a service,
expect something beautiful !

On February 19th, 2005,  Moore's Chapel hosted a Community Christian Mission Lenten Service.  Music was provided by members of three area churches.  But God had a special musical surprise for all of us at the end of the service.

We are humbled to be able to share some of these musical selections with you.

I guess God decided that he wanted just a little more "special" music that evening.  The last of the singers had gone to sit with their families in the congregation and we were ending the service with the hymn, "Jesus Keep Me Near The Cross".  Well, the Holy spirit flowed from the walls of our 133 year old church and filled everyone's hearts.  The unprepared soundman heard what was building and he frantically fired up two microphones that were hung over the, now empty, choir loft.  We give you the result here.... an unrehearsed congregational hymn, truly inspired by God.  Make sure you listen to the last chorus.
